NZ Visual Diary - Cuba obsession
woman on street with pets
There have been mornings since my return to Auckland from Cuba that I have powered through a portion of my Cuba photo collection and processed multiple images.
Then there are mornings, like this one, in which I spend considerable time on a single photograph. I am compelled to stop and surrender to the image, to grant the photograph the extra time it requires because it has so much to say to me.
I gentle ask my dear viewers to linger on this page and permit your senses to absorb and reflect on its acuity as visual and narrative phrase.
There are innumerable moments of wonder and poignancy all around us, but we must be of a mind to see them.
