NZ Visual Diary - entry 140
spectators - Silo Park
Sometimes in pursuing street photography, which I find one of the most challenging genres of the art form, the scene falls into place.
The people find their marks; the lighting is rich and varied; the foreground invites the viewer into the composition while the background ensures that the viewer doesn’t wander off; and, the photograph has a point or area of interest to fix the viewer’s eye.
Shot late at night under rather harsh lighting conditions, this photograph nonetheless works for me.
