the layering of an urban still life
First, there is a layer of organic and inorganic, the co-mingling of tree, soil and vegetation with built environment (a small power substation, road, home and nearby Albert Park).
Next, we could consider the disparate beauty of sylvan splendour and architectural flare.
Finally, a ubiquitous signature: graffiti, the human expression for territorial marking and artistic statement layered within and upon the built environment.
