modernity - Bradford Street Parnell
To extend my observation on architectural illusion, which I introduced in a previous post, I present here a second cleverly deceptive street facade . . . this time wrapped up in modernist garb.
The passerby is invited to imagine what might lie beyond the front facade, given only a hint of possibility in the foreshadowing on the right-hand side of the rendering.
I did wonder if the architectural studio identified in the image of Number 34 Bradford might have had a design hand in the tear-down project featured in this post.
