weary gents

It was a hot day, not as hot as it will get this summer in Auckland, but hot enough.

Hot enough to send older adults in search of a bench, a place to sit and seek respite from the unrelenting gaze of the sun.

Both gents sat motionless for some time, the unwitting subjects of a photographic still life amidst the detritus of the day.
