Te Komititanga Square - command performance

Street performers and the audiences they attract (and captivate) abound on Te Komititanga Square. Today was no exception.

A performer, while balancing precariously on board and roller, attempted to catch a hoop tossed by a young volunteer.

The intensity on the young girl’s face was matched by the energetic expectation of those gathered.

After two failed attempts, acrobat and hoop hurler connected and the crowd rejoiced.
