NZ Visual Diary - entry 252
royal court and jester
It was a busy morning at Te Komititanga Square. A favourite street performer had attracted a large crowd.
Nearby an unlikely pair held court - a woman in elegant attire, perhaps of Tibetan origin, and her oddly dressed companion. There is no obvious thematic connection between the two of them, but from signs of their regular interactions I surmised that they had come together.
With a summer sun beating down upon the square, the frog prince must have been terribly uncomfortable. All for the love of public theatre.
