Auckland Harbour bridge
Viewed in this instance from Silo Park, the Auckland Harbour bridge is an impressive structure, but especially at night.
Awash in the glow of coloured LED light, and often presented in pulsating patterns, the nocturnal skin of the bridge is intoxicating.
We should be thankful that unsuspecting motorists making their way across the bridge are shielded from the sight of Auckland's aurora borealis.
A quarter moon is no doubt amused.
