profusion of colour

K Road is many things. Dull is not one of them.

The breadth of the street, stretching from Symonds Street to the east to its western boundary at its intersection with Great North Road, is punctuated with colour, often vibrant, on occasion audacious, or as illustrated in today’s image bathed in muted but delicious pastels.

I speak in praise of a building owner who wished to share architectural charm with any passerby who dared to pause and look hard.
