motion & still life on K Road
It’s so many of the things that I love about K Road.
Stillness & movement; frozen moments in which people pose as awkwardly as headless mannequins; posters plastered on poles and store-front columns chronicling everything, everywhere, all at once; a barricaded hostel entrance suggesting an unintended meaning for its moniker HIT HOSTEL; and an op shop (Kiwi-speak for vintage clothing store) with the eclectic name SMOOVE.
positively K Road
How is it I have lived in this city all my life, but I need your eyes/lens to actually really see it? Maybe I should cancel my overseas jaunts and instead wander around Auckland with your pics as a guide book! Thanks Rich!
