Auckland Harbour dock from another century

From a technical standpoint this image was challenging. I was on a night walk, perhaps 9:30 in the evening, an hour or more after the sun had set. I had left my tripod behind so I had to capture this image with hand-held camera.

There are stories upon stories sequestered in this set of stone stairs, hints of which are visible in the weather-weary rock faces. but sea and harbour keep their secrets.
