Sky Tower - a nocturnal impression

At 328 metres tall, the Sky Tower is a dominant landmark of Auckland's architectural profile. The tower opened in 1997.

To punctuate the building's aesthetic in an evening's sky, Sky Tower is often illuminated with gorgeous hues of red or purple.

On a confessional note, I am comforted that the structure also serves as a beacon for a geographically-challenged wanderer.
