happy chef - K Road restaurant

It’s that K Road vibe.

I don’t think the chef saw me. I took this photograph from the sidewalk outside the front entrance to the restaurant. The restaurant was closed, and the chef was prepping for the dinner crowd. Chairs at a table closest to the front entrance were still upside-down on the table top, likely obscuring the chef’s view of me, which is to say I believe that the photograph is a candid portrait.

Irrespective of his awareness of my intention, the chef’s smile is beguiling.

It’s that K Road vibe.
