I often see the contemplative pose illustrated in today’s post as I walk the length and breadth of Wynyard Quarter.

Visitors to Wynyard Quarter, especially those who visit the quarter at night, are mesmerised in a moment upon viewing some facet of its built or natural environment.

I was so taken by the gentleman’s intense reverie that I failed to look at and note that which transfixed his gaze.

My imagination runs riot - so much about the precinct excites my own sense of wonder.
