Hotel Ponsonby

Located in the upscale Auckland suburb of Ponsonby, this elegant building is known as the Hotel Ponsonby and is currently home to a gastropub.

Construction of the building began in 1911 and it opened in 1913. The tower and clock were added two years later.

The building served as Ponsonby's post office for almost 100 years. The post office operations were removed from the building in 2002.
