NZ visual diary - entry 88
and so they danced
On several occasions I have watched this troupe of dancers practice their highly stylised choreography on the Karanga Plaza in Wynyard Quarter. It is a joy to watch them perform.
Today, on a sparkling spring day, amidst a crowd of fellow onlookers, of children on scooters, of lovers holding hands, of parents with infants nestled in chest and back carriers, of people old and young, I decided it was a good day, just the right day, to photograph the dancers - an image of fluid motion in repose.
