Women's Suffrage Mural - Khartoum Place
I come back to Khartoum Place often to consider the Women's Suffrage Mural. New Zealand is proud of its place in history, it being the first country in the world to extend by law to women the right to vote in national elections.
I have photographed the plaza and its iconic art work on numerous occasions, only this time I have rendered the image in black & white. The light that afternoon was insistent, and I heeded its demand.
